Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair

Important:   Remove the rust and scale from rotor and rear wheel bearing hub flange mating surfaces. Failure to do so may result in excessive lateral
runout when the rotor mounts on the brake lathe or when the rotor reinstalls on the rear wheel bearing hub flange.

Refer to Accuturn Brake Lathe, GM Dealer Equipment Procedure or refer to Ammco Brake Lathe Procedure to refinish the rear brake rotors. Follow the
lathe instructions and recommendations for that particular lathe when using any other lathe.
