6. Connect the Bank 1, Sensor 1 heated oxygen sensor electrical connector.
7. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield to the exhaust manifold. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.

Tighten the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

8. Install the bolts securing the engine wiring harness bracket to the right cylinder head.

Tighten the engine wiring harness bracket bolts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

9. If previously removed, install the right outer tie rod end to the steering knuckle. Refer to Rack and Pinion Outer Tie Rod End Replacement  (See:

Steering and Suspension/Steering/Tie Rod/Tie Rod End/Service and Repair) .

10. With the aid of an assistant, install the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement  (See: Service and Repair) .
