Refitting coolant pump

  1. Reposition pump in seat and tighten retaining screws to the specified torque.

Replace pump o-rings before refitting.

Refit parts removed previously by reversing removal procedure. Adjust timing and auxiliary belt tension as described previously.

REMOVING - REFITTING CYLINDER HEAD

Disconnect battery negative lead, then proceed as follows.

  1. Arrange a container to collect the coolant and disconnect sleeve (1) by undong retaining clip. Disconnect sleeve (2) connected to the thermostat.
