Coil resistance check

Check 5510C

Basic operation

Using a multimeter in Ohmmeter mode, measure the resistance of the primary and secondary circuits for the coil concerned.

Check that the resistance value, at ambient temperature, is within the permissible limits

Primary circuit resistance must be between the following values:

Nominal value: 570 mOhm.

Minimum value: 520 mOhm

Maximum value: 620 mOhm

Secondary circuit resistance must be between the following values:

Nominal value: 7330 Ohm

Minimum value: 6830 Ohm

Maximum value: 7830 Ohm
