Removing

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

Carry out the operations with the engine cold.

1. Disconnect the spark plug high tension leads.

Blow air into the spark plug seats to remove any impurities present.

2. Unscrew the heater plugs and remove them.

Refitting

Check the state of the spark plugs and replace them, if necessary.

Using different spark plugs from the recommended ones can cause damage to the engine and alter the exhaust emission levels.

Tighten the spark plugs into their seats and tighten to torque.

Connect the spark plug high tension leads.

Connect the negative battery terminal.

Removing

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 5510C14 IGNITION COIL/S - R+R

Blow air into the spark plug housings and remove any impurities or traces of dirt.

1. With the engine cold, remove the spark plugs using an appropriate wrench.

Check the state of the spark plugs and replace them, if necessary.

Using different spark plugs from the recommended ones can cause damage to the engine and alter the exhaust emission levels.

Refitting

Fit the spark plugs and tighten them to the recommended torque.

Op. 5510C14 IGNITION COIL/S - R+R

Connect the negative battery terminal.

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection (1a) and remove the spark plug (1b).

Refitting

- Place the spark plug in position, tighten it to the recommended torque and connect the electrical connection.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.
