REAR FOG LAMPS NOT WORKING

When the rear fog lamp switch is operated with the dipped headlamps on (or the fog lights on) the rear fog lamp does not work. If the dipped beam headlamps do not work either See table I05 DIPPED HEADLAMPS NOT WORKING

1	CHECK WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
		Results of the tests
	Connect the EXAMINER diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket. Check that there are no faults in the Body Computer.	Continue to Step 2	Rear fog lamps open circuit error or incorrect bulb or short circuit to earth or short circuit to + V	Check the condition of the bulbs Continue to Step 2
		Continue to Step 2	Battery	Restore the correct connections Continue to Step 3
2	CHECK ON INDIVIDUAL LIGHT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the condition of the individual bulbs and bulb holder assembly	Continue to Step 3	Bulbs damaged	Replace bulbs Op. 5540A50
		Continue to Step 3	Bulb holder assembly faulty	Renew or replace the rear light cluster Op. 5540A44

	Check, in order: connections between rear fog lamp switch and Body Computer connections between Body Computer and bulbs bulb earth rear fog lamp switch earth: See E2031 REAR FOG LAMPS	Continue to Step 4	Connections broken	Restore connections See E2031 REAR FOG LAMPS
		Continue to Step 4	Faulty earth	Renew the earth: See E2031 REAR FOG LAMPS
4	CHECK REAR FOG LAMP SWITCH	All OK	Problems met	Operation
