1. Tooling

Equipment : Longitudinal engine support bar.

2. Removing

ESSENTIAL : Respect the safety and cleanliness recommendations that are specific to high pressure diesel injection (HDi) engines.

Place the vehicle on a 2-post lift.
Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
Drain the engine cooling circuit .
Remove :

• The upper central bumper
• The front right mud guard
• The protection plates under the engine
• The right-hand headlamp
• The bonnet opening control
• The front panel upper crossmember
• The auxiliary equipment drive belt
• The alternator and air conditioning compressor drive belt guide rollers
• The timing chain

Refit :

• The engine top mounting
• The intermediate engine mounting
