ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

1. Removing

ESSENTIAL : Respect the safety and cleanliness recommendations that are specific to high pressure diesel injection (HDi) engines .

CAUTION : Do not separate the pressure regulation valve from the turbocharger or slacken its fixings.

Place the vehicle on a 2-post lift.
Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Remove :

  • The scuttle manifold (1)
  • The air filter housing (5)
  • The turbocharger inlet duct (2)
  • The upper bolts (3) of the heat shield (4)
  • The heat shield (4)
  • The pre-catalytic converter
