2. Removing

ESSENTIAL : Respect the safety and cleanliness recommendations that are specific to high pressure diesel injection (HDI) engines.

Disconnect the ancillaries battery.
Place the vehicle on a 2-post lift.
Remove :

• The power unit assembly
• The accessories drive belt(s)
• The upper timing chain
• The camshaft carrier and camshaft assembly
