Unscrew nut (9).
Uncouple the handbrake cables from the balance lever (10) (In the direction of the arrow ).
Remove : The handbrake secondary cables.

3.2. Refitting

Couple the handbrake cables on the balance lever (10).
Tighten the nut (9).
Clip the sleeve on its bracket (at "d").
Clip : The handbrake sleeves to the body (at "b", "c").
Couple the sleeves to the supports on the suspension blades.
Refit the handbrake control lever (8) (on each side).
Connect the inner cable to the lever (8) (at "a") (on each side).

N.B. : Check that the brake cable is correctly positioned on the braking mechanism.

Refit :

• The parking brake shoes (on each side)
• The rear hub bearings
• The brake discs

Adjust the parking brake .
Refit the rear wheels.
Return the vehicle to its wheels.
Tighten the wheel bolts.

4. Common operations

CAUTION : Perform the operations to be carried out following reconnection of the battery.

Reconnect the battery.
