3. Refitting

CAUTION : Ensure that there is no fouling between the engine-gearbox assembly and the body.

Slowly lower the engine and gearbox assembly; Using the lifting table [0004].

Manoeuvre the engine-gearbox assembly to facilitate removal.

Remove the power unit assembly (from below).

Move the engine-gearbox assembly away from under the vehicle.

3. Refitting

CAUTION : Adhere to the tightening torques.

Tightening torques : Transmission .

Tightening torques :

• Exhaust system
• Manual gearbox
• engine
• Engine/gearbox mountings

Place the engine/gearbox assembly on the hydraulic table [0004].

CAUTION : Ensure that there is no fouling between the engine-gearbox assembly and the body. Manoeuvre the engine gearbox assembly to facilitate its repositioning.

Position the engine-gearbox set; Using tool [0004] (from underneath the vehicle).

Refit :

• The engine mounting (26)
• The earth braid (29)
• The engine mounting (27)
