Insert a 1 mm shim between the gear lever and the mounting (14).

Press button " b " to move the automatic adjustment device to position (D).

N.B. : The length of the gear selection control cable is adjusted.

5. Subsequent operations

Refit :

• The central glovebox assembly (7)
• The gear lever gaiter (6)
• The air filter casing

CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required following a reconnection of the ancillaries battery.

Reconnect the ancillaries battery.

Carry out a road test, changing through all the gears to make sure there is no fault.
