Unscrew the nuts (10).

Remove the driveshaft.

3. Refitting

CAUTION : Always replace the driveshaft seals during each operation (see the relevant operation).

Coat the interval between the lips of the driveshaft seals with grease.

3.1. On the right-hand side

Engage :

• The driveshaft in the driveshaft bearing
• The splines of the driveshaft in the differential
• The splines of the driveshaft in the hub of the right-hand wheel

Tighten the nuts (10).

3.2. On the left-hand side

Engage :

• The splines of the driveshaft in the differential
• The splines of the driveshaft in the hub of the left-hand wheel

3.3. Refitting (continued)

Couple the ball joint housing (8) and the hub.

Refit :

• The 3 bolts (9); Tighten to 11,5 ± 0,4 daN.m
• The silentblock (6)
• The washer (5)
