3. Refitting (page 2 of 2)

• The nut (4); Tighten to 5,6 ± 0,5 daN.m

Retighten the nut (7); Tighten to 5,6 ± 0,5 daN.m.

N.B. : Use new nuts (3) and (1).

Couple the steering ball joint (2) to the hub .
Refit :

• The nut (3); Tighten to 8 ± 0,7 daN.m
• The tool [6310-T]
• The nut (1); Tighten to 15 ± 1,5 daN.m; Angular tightening to 35°

Lock the transmission nut using the tool [5709-T.E].
The flat side "a"of the tool [5709-T.E] must always be towards the outside.

ESSENTIAL : The nut collar must be locked in the opposite direction to tightening.

Remove the tool [6310-T].
Refit :

• The front wheels
• The front wheel bolts
• The right-hand protector under the engine
• The protective panel under the engine

Return the vehicle to its wheels.
Tighten the front wheel bolts.
Fill gearbox with oil and ensure correct level (see the relevant operation).

CAUTION : Perform the operations to be carried out following reconnection of the battery.
