FRONT DOOR WATER PENETRATION

After rain or washing, water enters the car in the region of one of the front doors

1	CHECK DOOR COMPARTMENT SEAL	All OK	Problems met	Operation
		Results of the tests
	Check the door seal In particular, check: absence of wrinkles in the seal condition of seal	Continue to Step 2	Faulty fitting of seal	Fit the sealing strip correctly Op. 7005A34
2	CHECK DOOR ALIGNMENT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the door is properly fitted. In particular, ascertain: door - compartment correctly aligned seal correctly bonded to the door	Continue to Step 3	door incorrectly fitted	Refit the door properly Op. 7005A14
3	CHECK MOVING WINDOW GLASS	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the moving window glass seal In particular, ascertain: the window glass is properly sealed the window glass channel is correctlly positioned the glass scraper is correctly positioned	Continue to Step 4	Channel incorrectly positioned	Refit the channel properly Op. 7005D18
			Window glass incorrectly fitted	Refit the moving window glass guide correctly Op. 7005D23
			Glass scraper incorrectly fitted	Refit the glass scraper correctly Op. 7005D26
4	CHECK FIXED WINDOW GLASS	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check fixed window seal	Continue to Step 5	Window glass incorrectly fitted	Refit the mobile window glass correctly Op. 7005D44
5	CHECK DOOR DRAINAGE	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the drainage on the lower part of the doors. In particular, check for dirt, leaves etc.	Continue to Step 6	Dirt in drains	Clean the drains. If necessary, refit the lower seal correctly Op. 7005A46
6	CHECKING CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis	Fault persists	Search for the fault starting from another symptom'
