WATER PENETRATION PASSENGER COMPARTMENT, FRONT AREA

When it is raining or after washing, there is water in the front of the passenger compartment.

1	CHECK THAT THERE IS NO PENETRATION THROUGH THE WINDSCREEN	All OK	Problems met	Operation

	Check the sealant on the windscreen See Test 7035A Check there is no penetration through the fixed windows (windscreen and rearscreen)	Continue to Step 2	No sealant	Renew the sealant, following the instructions Op. 7035A04
2	WINDSCREEN CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the windscreen. In particular, visually inspect: the condition of the window the flatness of the support surface the flatness of the serigraphy	Continue to Step 3	Faults in the windscreen	Replace the windscreen Op. 7035A18
3	WINDSCREEN BASE COVER CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the cover at the base of the windscreen In particular, visually inspect the condition of the cover that the cover and the windscreen wiper arm are properly fixed	Continue to Step 4	Faults in the cover	Renew or replace the cover Op. 7055A18
4	CHECK ON COVER UNDER THE WINDSCREEN	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the cover under the windscreen. In particular, visually inspect the condition of the cover that the cover is properly fixed that the main beam headlamps are correctly fixed	Continue to Step 5	Faults in the cover	Renew or replace the cover Op. 7055A20
5	ENGINE COMPARTMENT BULKHEAD DRAINAGE CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the drainage of the engine compartment bulkhead. In particular, check for dirt, leaves etc.	Continue to Step 6	Dirt in drains	Clean the drains. If necessary refit correctly
6	ENGINE COMPARTMENT BULKHEAD CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the engine compartment bulkhead. In particular, ascertain: the plugs are fitted the plugs are correctly fitted the rubber cable covers are fitted correctly the sealing is efficient correct assembly	Continue to Step 7	Faults in the engine compartment bulkhead	Restore the engine compartment bulkhead fitting and fixings
5	CHECKING CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis	Fault persists	Search for the fault starting from another symptom'
