Check that the volume knob on the Connect is correctly adjustedMove on to Step 1Volume knob turned completely in an anti-clockwise directionAdjust the volume correctly

Check that the speaker connections are correctly connected.

If the customer complains of no or poor audio quality, check that the microphone for the hands-free function is working properly.

Check that there are no microphone vibrations.

Check the operation of the GSM aerial

Move on to Step 2
  • Speaker connections broken
  • Microphone not correctly installed
  • GSM aerial defective
  • Restore continuity
  • Install the microphone correctly

  • Replace the aerial

2CONTROLS ON THE STEERING WHEEL CHECKAll OKProblems encounteredOperation

Check that the controls on the steering wheel for adjusting the volume which can increase/decrease the audio volume are working properly

If necessary, disconnect the controls on the steering wheel from the Connect and check that the fault disappears
