Refitting

(Op. 1068A30 continued)

1. Remove the air cleaner cover with its pipes and throttle case air conveyor.

1. Loosen the lock nuts (1a) from the accelerator control cable (1b) on the throttle case.

• Disconnect the accelerator control cable from the throttle case bracket.
• Remove the accelerator control cable end from the throttle case.
• Remove the accelerator control cable end from the accelerator pedal.
• Withdraw the rubber accelerator control cable sheath from the engine compartment bulkhead.
• Remove the accelerator control cable from the engine compartment.

Refitting

• Install the accelerator control cable in the engine compartment.
• Fit the rubber accelerator control cable sheath in the engine compartment bulkhead.
• Fit the accelerator control cable end on the accelerator pedal.
• Fit the accelerator control cable end on the throttle case.
• Connect the accelerator control cable on the bracket on the throttle case.
• Tighten the accelerator control cable adjustment lock nuts.
• Complete with Op. 1068A10 ACCELERATOR CONTROL PEDAL - Check, adjust where required and lubricate.
• Reposition the air cleaner cover with the pipes and throttle case air conveyor.
• Insert the oil vapours recovery pipe onto the throttle case.
• Insert the oil vapours recovery pipe on the tappet cover.
• Tighten the throttle case air conveyor screws.
• Hook the air cleaner cover clasps.
• Connect the battery (-) terminal.

• Close the engine compartment.
