FOREWORD

The ELECTRICAL DIAGRAMS section contains all the necessary information concerning the systems and electrical and electronic circuits installed in the car.

In particular, all the useful tools for easier troubleshooting and for faults that could arise on these systems are supplied.

The electrical system is divided into "functions".

The functions are circuits or systems with autonomous operations that can be separated from the rest of the electrical system. The functions are then grouped according to similarity into "Families" identified by an alphanumeric code.

The individual functions are identified by a symbol and a code included with that of the function family

Each electrical function (installation / system) is dealt with separately in a specific "unit" that includes:

  • general description of the installation / system: briefly describes the operation of the installation / system
  • electrical diagram
  • description of operation: analytically describes the electrical diagram
  • components: lists the components included in the operation
  • components layout in the car: describes the position and lay-out of the wiring

At the end of each section are included:

  • wiring list: describes, for each car wiring, the lay-out and position of the components of that wiring
  • table of connectors: all the connectors are fully described one by one
  • components catalogue: consisting of a general key to all the components and an alphabetical index

Validity

The validity indicates, where necessary, the applicability of certain information to some car models / versions.

There are two types of validity.

  1. Model. Indicated by a symbol that identifies that model.
