MANUFACTURING FEATURES
The fuel tank is located in front of the rear axle. It is made of steel.
The fuel filler cap is fitted with two valves which enable the following if the multi-function valve fails:
- they ventilate the tank if a vacuum is created
- they bleed fuel fumes if excessive pressure is created in the tank.
The fuel tank is located in a rack which also includes:
- the fuel level gauge
- a net pre-filter for fuel suction.
The system is equipped with an inertia switch which cuts off the fuel pump in the event of an accident.
