Refitting

(Cont.d Op.1048A14)

1. Take out the throttle case conveyor sleeve from the air cleaner cover.
2. Unscrew the complete air cleaner nut fastening it to the support.
3. Remove the complete air cleaner together with the air inlet sleeve.

Refitting

• Position the complete air cleaner.
• Insert the air inlet sleeve in the cold inlet intake for the filter.
• Tighten the nut fastening the complete air cleaner to the support.
• Insert the throttle case air conveyor sleeve onto the air cleaner cover.
• Insert the hot air inlet sleeve onto the air cleaner body.
• Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

• Remove the body protection cover.
• Close the engine compartment.

1048A14 - AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT - REPLACEMENT

Removal

• Open the engine compartment.
• Release the air cleaner cover clasps.
• Raise the air cleaner cover (2a) and remove the filter element (2b).

Refitting

• Fit a new filter element in the air cleaner body.
• Reposition the air cleaner cover.
• Hook the air cleaner cover clasp.
• Close the engine compartment.
