DESCRIPTION

Mc Pherson type to independent wheels optimised to offer comfort and driving safety.

The main front suspension components are:

  • coil springs heavily offset in relation to the damper axis to reduce sliding friction. The springs rest on plates with rubber rings in between to prevent operating noise.
  • double-acting hydraulic dampers and the adoption of a rebound spring to improve stability when cornering.
  • "cellasto" buffer which comes into action very gradually to improve comfort and gradual response when cornering.
  • wishbones in nodular cast iron
  • stabiliser bar (sports version only) anchored to the wishbones by flexible blocks.
