DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION

The main beam circuit is activated by the stalk unit H5.

When the switch is in the dipped lights position, headlamps F10 (left) and F11 (right) are supplied: this is an ignition switch power supply (INT/A) of the line protected by fuse F13 of junction unit B1.

Each headlamp is protected by a fuse of junction unit B1: F7 for the left headlamp and F6 for the right.

With only the main beam on, the supply passes through dipped lights holding relay/shunt J45.

The supply line of the two headlamps also serves as consent signal for the headlamp position regulator (see E3080 - HEADLAMPS POSITION REGULATOR).

The stalk unit switching to dipped lights position also enables the rear foglamps(see E2031 - REAR FOG LAMPS).
