DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION

The steering column switch unit H5 is supplied via the 20A fuse F20 housed in the junction unit B1. The supply for fuse F20 comes from the ignition switch H1 via the INT contact.

Fuse F20 receives voltage when the instrument is supplied and during starting. With the ignition switched on, fuses F4 and F5 (10A) are supplied by adjusting the steering column switch unit; via the H1 contacts (STAZ) and (POS). Fuse F4 supplies the lighting system for the rev counter E15, whilst fuse F5 supplies the lighting system for the instrument panel E50.
