DESCRIPTION

There are three ashtrays installed in the car: one is in the centre of the dashboard and two are in the rear side panels.

Beside the front ashtray there is a standard type current socket that is lit when the car side lights are on.

This socket contains the cigar lighter resistor, but it can also be used to connect other devices or equipment (providing they operate at 12 V). To activate the cigar lighter press the knob: after about15 seconds it comes out automatically, ready for use.

The socket is thermically protected: in the case of connections with high energy absorption, the protection device cuts off the supply.

The current socket circuit is protected by a fuse and controlled by a power supply cut-off relay in the junction unit

The socket is only powered with the key on RUN.
