AM2 - Check Bulb

Remove bulb.

Using an ohmmeter, check continuity of bulb.
Is bulb in good condition?
YES
GO to AM3.
NO
REPLACE bulb. RETEST system.
AM3 - Check Ground

Disconnect wiring.

Using an ohmmeter measure resistance between ground and circuit 57 (BK).
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
YES
GO to AM4.
NO
SERVICE open in circuit 57 (BK). RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
AM4 - Check Circuit 705 (LG/O)

Disconnect wiring.
-
Using a voltmeter check voltage of circuit 705 (LG/O).
Is voltage greater than 10 volts?
YES
REPLACE lamp. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
NO
SERVICE open in circuit 705 (LG/O). RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
AN - Glove Compartment Lamp Inoperative
Pinpoint Test AN: Glove Compartment Lamp Inoperative
AN1 - Check Lighting Operation

Operation all other demand courtesy lamps

Observe operation all other lamps.
Do other lamps light?
YES
GO to AN2.
NO
GO to Pinpoint Test AK. See: Pinpoint Tests/Courtesy Lamps/AK - All Demand Lighting Inoperative
AN2 - Check Bulb

Remove bulb.

Using an ohmmeter, check continuity of bulb.
Is bulb in good condition?
YES
GO to AN3.
NO
REPLACE bulb. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
AN3 - Check Ground

Disconnect wiring.
-
Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and circuit 57 (BK).
Is resistance less than 5 ohms?
