GO to AN4.

NO

SERVICE open in circuit 57 (BK).  RESTORE vehicle.  RETEST system.

AN4 - Check Circuit 705 (LG/O)

Disconnect wiring.

-

Using a voltmeter, check voltage of circuit 705 (LG/O).

Is voltage greater than 10 volts?

YES

REPLACE lamp.  RESTORE vehicle.  RETEST system.

NO

SERVICE open in circuit 705 (LG/O).  RESTORE vehicle.  RETEST system.

AP - Glove Compartment Lamp On Continuously

Pinpoint Test AP: Glove Compartment Lamp On Continuously

AP1 - Check Lighting Operation

-

Operate all other demand courtesy lamps.

-

Observe operation of all other lamps.

Do other lamps turn off?

YES

REPLACE switch.  RESTORE vehicle.  RETEST system.

NO

GO to Pinpoint Test AK.  See: Pinpoint Tests/Courtesy Lamps/AK - All Demand Lighting Inoperative

AQ - Vanity Mirror Lamps Inoperative

Pinpoint Test AQ: Vanity Mirror Lamps Inoperative

AQ1 - Check Lighting Operation

Operate all other demand lighting.

-

Observe operation of all other lamps.

Do other lamps light?

YES

GO to AQ2.

NO

Go to Pinpoint Test AK.  See: Pinpoint Tests/Courtesy Lamps/AK - All Demand Lighting Inoperative

AQ2 - Check Bulb

-

Remove bulb.

-

Using a voltmeter, check continuity of bulb.

Is bulb in good condition?

YES

GO to AQ3.

NO

REPLACE bulb.  RETEST system.

AQ3 - Check Ground

-

Disconnect wiring.

-

Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and circuit 57.

Is resistance less than5 ohms?

YES

GO to AQ4.

NO

SERVICE open in circuit57 (BK).  RESTORE vehicle.  RETEST system.

AQ4 - Check Circuit 705 (LG/O)

-

Disconnect wiring.

-

Using a voltmeter, check voltage of circuit 705 (LG/O).

Is voltage greater than 10 volts?
