8. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
1. Position the tire and wheel assembly.
2. Install the lug nuts and lower the vehicle.
3. Tighten the lug nuts.
4. Install the center cap.

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the axle housing cover.

Drain the lubricant.
4. Remove the rear brake drums.
5. Remove, the differential pinion shaft.
1. Remove the differential pinion shaft lock bolt .
2. Remove the differential pinion shaft.
6. Remove the u-washers.
1. Push the axle shafts inboard.
2. Remove the U-washers.
CAUTION: Do not damage the rubber O-rings in the U-washer grooves.
