Remover, Timing Belt Pulley

1. Remove the timing belt as described in Operation Number 21 304 0.
   • Remove the thrust washer.

2. Detach the crankshaft timing belt pulley.

3. Remove the crankshaft front oil seal.

   CAUTION:The oil seal must be inserted in the tool as far as the stop.
   Fit the oil seal in the special tool.
   • Lay the special tool on a vice and use a hammer handle to press the oil seal into place.
   1. Wrong way.
   2. Right way.

2. Install the crankshaft oil seal.
   • Lubricate the oil seal lip and crankshaft running face with engine oil.
   • Draw the oil seal into the oil pump housing using the pulley bolt.

3. 

   NOTE:The collar of the timing belt pulley faces outwards.
   

   NOTE:The curved side of the thrust washer faces outwards.
   Fit the timing belt pulley.

4. Fit the timing belt as described in Operation No. 21 304 0.
