Remove the timing belt as described in Operation Number 21 304 0. - Remove the thrust washer.

Detach the crankshaft timing belt pulley. | | | -
Remove the crankshaft front oil seal. | Installation | | -
CAUTION:The oil seal must be inserted in the tool as far as the stop. Fit the oil seal in the special tool. - Lay the special tool on a vice and use a hammer handle to press the oil seal into place.
- Wrong way.
- Right way.

Install the crankshaft oil seal. - Lubricate the oil seal lip and crankshaft running face with engine oil.
- Draw the oil seal into the oil pump housing using the pulley bolt.

NOTE:The collar of the timing belt pulley faces outwards. NOTE:The curved side of the thrust washer faces outwards. Fit the timing belt pulley. | | | -
Fit the timing belt as described in Operation No. 21 304 0. | | |
