Engine Cooling - Coolant Expansion Tank Fiesta 1996 (08/1995-02/2002)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Drain the cooling system.
    For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding in this section.

  1. Disconnect the expansion tank hoses.
    1. Disconnect the radiator to expansion tank hose.
    1. Disconnect the engine to expansion tank hose.
    1. Disconnect the engine supply hose.

  1. Remove the expansion tank.
    1. Remove the expansion tank retaining screw.
    1. Remove the expansion tank from the supporting bracket.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Refill the cooling system.
