Removal and Installation

Removal
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel (six clips).

  1. Detach the lock shield and ground lead (four screws).

  1. Remove the upper lock cable.
    1. Push out the cable retainer.
    1. Pull the cable free.

  1. Remove the lower lock cable.
    1. Push out the cable retainer.
    1. Pull the cable free.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:To remove the lock barrel assembly, refer to procedure contained in this section.
    Remove the top and bottom locks.
    1. Remove the two bolts.
    1. Extract the lock and cable from the door.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
