Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Detach the coolant expansion tank. - Remove the coolant expansion tank retaining bolt.
- Detach the coolant expansion tank and secure it to one side.

Remove the accessory drive belt.

| 4. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s). 4 - Timing belt lower cover 5. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Removal Details Item 2 : Crankshaft pulley retaining bolt | | -
NOTE:Only turn the engine in the normal direction of rotation. Rotate the engine until the special tool fits into the hole in the flywheel. | | | -
Remove and discard the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt. | Installation Details Item 2 : Crankshaft pulley retaining bolt | | -
Install a new crankshaft pulley bolt. - Tighten the crankshaft pulley bolt in two stages.
- Stage 1 : Tighten the bolt - 30 Nm.
- Stage 2 : Tighten the bolt - 180 degrees.
