Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the crankcase vent oil separator.
    For additional information, refer to: Crankcase Vent Oil Separator (303-08E Engine Emission Control - 1.8L Duratorq-TDCi (Lynx) Diesel, Removal and Installation).

2. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s).

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Removal Details

Item 3 : Fuel filter
  1. Detach the fuel filter fuel supply line and fuel pump fuel supply line from the retaining clips.
  1. Detach the fuel filter from the support bracket and position it to one side.

Item 4 : CHT sensor

  1. Disconnect the CHT sensor electrical connector.

  1. Detach the CHT sensor electrical connector from the engine rear lifting eye.

Installation Details

Item 3 : Fuel filter

NOTE:
NOTE:Make sure that the fuel filter is correctly installed into the support bracket.
