2. Disassemble the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s).

3. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.

Disassembly Details

Item 1 : Retaining bolt - input shaft

NOTE:Right-hand thread. Remove the input shaft retaining bolt. Heat the input shaft retaining bolt to approx. 90°C using a hot air gun.

Item 2 : Input shaft ball bearing with retainer

Use the special tool to press off the input shaft ball bearing with its retainer and discard it.

Item 3 : Input shaft parallel roller bearing inner race

Press off the inner race of the input shaft parallel roller bearing and discard it.

Assembly Details

Item 3 : Input shaft parallel roller bearing inner race

NOTE:Install a new input shaft parallel roller bearing inner race. Using the special tool, press on the input shaft parallel roller bearing inner race.

Item 2 : Input shaft ball bearing with retainer

NOTE:Install a new input shaft ball bearing with bearing retainer. Press on the input shaft ball bearing with bearing retainer.

Item 1 : Retaining bolt - input shaft

NOTE:Install a new input shaft retaining bolt. NOTE:The thread in the input shaft must be clean and free of oil or grease. Screw in the input shaft retaining bolt.
