Remove the liftgate trim panel. | | | -
Detach the liftgate latch cable from the liftgate lock cylinder retaining plate. | | | -
Disconnect the liftgate latch cable from the liftgate lock cylinder actuator. | | | -
Remove the liftgate lock cylinder retaining plate retaining screws and the liftgate lock cylinder actuator. | | | -
Remove the liftgate lock cylinder retaining plate. - Rotate the retaining plate counterclockwise.

Remove the liftgate lock cylinder. - Push the liftgate lock cylinder through the liftgate.
| Installation | | -
To install, reverse the removal procedure. | | |
