Wipers and Washers - Windshield Washer Reservoir Galaxy 2000.75 (04/2000-02/2006)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the upper battery cover.
  1. Remove the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to Section  501-19 Bumpers.

  1. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connectors.
    • Unclip the wiring harness.
    • Disconnect the washer hoses from the washer pump.

  1. Remove the front fender bolts on both sides.
  1. Fabricate two M10 x 250 mm guide bars out of a suitable threaded bar.

  1. Loosen the lock panel.
    1. Remove the front bumper bracket upper retaining bolts and screw in the guide bar about 40 mm.
    1. Remove the front bumper bracket lower retaining bolts on both sides.

  1. Pull the lock panel to the front as far as possible.
  1. Remove the left headlamp assembly. For additional information, refer to Section  417-01 Exterior Lighting.

  1. Remove the windshield washer reservoir upper retaining screw.

  1. Remove the windshield washer reservoir upper retaining nut.

  1. Remove the windshield washer reservoir lower retaining nut.

  1. Disconnect the generator wiring harness.
  1. Remove the windshield washer reservoir.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
