Fuel Charging Wiring Harness - Removal and Installation for 13L Endura-E (HCS) Engine

Fuel Charging and Controls - 1.3L Endura-E (HCS) - Fuel Charging Wiring Harness Ikon 1999 (01/2000-)
Removal and Installation

Removal
  1. Detach the fuel charging wiring harness and disconnect the electrical connector.

  1. Disconnect the idle air control valve electrical connector.

  1. Detach the accelerator cable bracket.

  1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor electrical connector.

  1. Detach the spark plug wires.

  1. Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors.
  1. Remove the engine undershield. For additional information, refer to Section  502-00 Uni-Body, Subframe and Mounting System.

  1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor electrical connector.

  1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
  1. Lower the vehicle.

  1. Detach the spark plug wires.

  1. Detach the spark plug wires and position to one side.

  1. Remove the fuel charging wiring harness right-hand screw.

  1. Detach the fuel charging wiring harness.

  1. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose.

  1. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hoses.

  1. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation hoses.
    • Disconnect the evaporative emission canister purge valve hose.
  1. Remove the fuel charging wiring harness.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
