Disassembly

WARNING:
WARNING:During this operation the spring is under extreme load, therefore care should be taken at all times.

  1. Using the special tools, compress the spring.

  1. Disassemble the suspension unit assembly.
    1. Remove the top mount upper spring clip.
    1. Remove the top mount.
    1. Remove the top mount lower spring clip.
    1. Remove the spring seat.
    1. Remove the suspension unit.
    1. Remove the bump stop.
    1. Remove the gaiter.
    1. Remove the suspension unit lower dust cover.

Assembly

  1. Refit the components in reverse order.
