Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Refer to: Cowl Panel Grille (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
      Refer to: Turbocharger (303-04I Fuel Charging and Controls - Turbocharger - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (Puma) Diesel, Removal and Installation).

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed.
    Torque: 10 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Install new nuts and a new gasket.
    Torque:
    Stage 1:
    12 Nm
    Stage 2:
    25 Nm
    Stage 3:
    25 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
