Removal and Installation
Remove
1. Disconnect the battery earth lead.

2. Remove the adjuster clips.

3. Pull the adjusters apart.

4. Unscrew the nuts and remove the engine cover (V6 24V variants only).

5. Disconnect the inner cable from the throttle body.

6. Disconnect the outer cable from the throttle body bracket.

CAUTION:

Do not pull on the wiring; pull on the multiplug body.
7. Disconnect the TCS motor multiplug.

8. Remove the TCS motor cover.

9. Disconnect the inner cable from the TCS motor upper pulley.

10. Disconnect the outer cable retaining clip from the TCS motor and remove the TCS motor/throttle body cable.

11. Disconnect the inner cable from the TCS motor lower pulley.

12. Disconnect the outer cable retaining clip from the TCS motor.

13. Unclip the inner cable from the accelerator pedal and remove the accelerator pedal/TCS motor cable.
Install
14. Refit the components in reverse order.
15. Adjust the accelerator cable (refer to Operation No. 23 811 0).
