Removing

- Position the vehicle on the lift.

- Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

1. Disconnect the detonation sensor electrical connector.

- Raise the vehicle on the lift.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and the bolt (1b), then move the modular intake manifold mounting bracket (1c).

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the detonation sensor (2b).

Refitting

- Place the detonation sensor in its housing and secure it using the bolt.

- Position the modular intake manifold mounting bracket and secure it using the nut and the bolt.

- Lower the vehicle on the lift.

- Connect the detonation sensor electrical connector.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
