Removing

- Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery lead.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the phase transformer solenoid.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the phase transformer solenoid (2b).

Refitting

- Place the phase transformer solenoid in its housing and secure it using the bolts.

- Connect the electrical connection to the phase transformer solenoid.

- Connect the negative battery lead.
