REPAIRS

Gaiter - sliding joint - front propeller 
shaft

Remove

1. Remove front propeller shaft.

 + 

 DRIVESHAFTS, REPAIRS, Propeller 

shaft - front.

2. Hold joint in vice and carefully release gaiter 

can from joint body.

3. Remove joint body and discard seal.

4. With stub of shaft held in vice, remove circlip 

securing inner part of joint.

5. Remove inner part of joint from shaft.

6. Remove clip, remove and discard gaiter.
