NOTICE:
Do not remove the nut.

(c) Remove the bolt and nut (B). Separate the stabilizer link assembly and height control sensor link bracket from the rear No. 2 suspension arm

assembly.

HINT
There is only the height control sensor link bracket on vehicles with the HID headlight system.

(d) Remove the bolt (C), nut and rear shock absorber with coil spring.

NOTICE:
Turn the bolt while holding the nut.

(e) Remove the bolt (D) and nut, and separate the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly from the rear axle carrier.

NOTICE:
Turn the bolt while holding the nut.

8. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING

(a) Remove the 3 nuts and rear No. 1 suspension support cover on the upper side of the rear shock absorber with coil spring.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and rear shock absorber with coil spring from the body.

NOTICE:
During this operation, hold the rear shock absorber with coil spring to prevent it from falling.

9. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY

(a) Loosen the rear support to rear shock absorber nut while holding the rod of the rear shock absorber assembly with a hexagon socket wrench.

Do not remove the rear support to rear shock absorber nut.

Securely insert the hexagon socket wrench to the rod of shock absorber assembly to prevent damage to the rear shock absorber
assembly.
