1. Assemble the overdrive/front band servo cover, overdrive/front band servo piston, and the servo piston spring.

1) Install the overdrive/front band servo piston into the overdrive/front band servo cover.
2) Install the servo piston spring on the overdrive/front band servo piston.

CAUTION:  Do not damage 0-ring during installation. Do not press servo cover and 0-ring past relief hole In case, or 0-ring damage may
occur.

2. Install the overdrive/front band servo assembly into the transmission case.

Lubricate the overdrive/front band servo cover O-ring with petroleum jelly.

3. Use Special Service Tool (SST) to install the overdrive/front band servo cover retaining ring.

1) Install SST and compress the overdrive/front band servo cover.
2) Install the overdrive/front servo cover retaining ring.

4. Install the digital Transmission Range (TR) sensor.

5. Install the shift cable.

1) Install the shift cable.
2) Install the shift cable to the manual control lever.

6. Install the control valve body.
7. Adjust the overdrive/front band.
