1. Assemble the intermediate band servo cover, intermediate band servo piston, and the servo piston spring.

1) Install the intermediate band servo piston into the intermediate band servo cover.
2) Install the servo piston spring on the intermediate band servo piston.

CAUTION:  Do not damage 0-ring during installation. Do not press servo cover and 0-ring past relief hole in case, or 0-ring damage may
occur.

2. Install the intermediate band servo piston assembly into the transmission case.

Lubricate intermediate band servo cover O-ring with petroleum jelly.

3. Using SST, install the intermediate band servo cover retaining ring.

1) Install the SST and compress the intermediate band servo cover.
2) Install the intermediate servo cover retaining ring.

4. Install the catalytic converter.
5. Install the digital Transmission Range (TR) sensor.

6. Install the shift cable.

1) Install the shift cable.
2) Install the shift cable to the manual control lever.

7. Install the control valve body.
8. Adjust the intermediate band.
9. Lower the vehicle.
