1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order using new intake manifold upper gaskets.
2. Tighten upper intake manifold retaining bolts in sequence shown to 8-12 Nm (71-106 inch lbs.).
3. Tighten accelerator cable bracket retaining bolts to 8-12 Nm (71-106 inch lbs.).
4. Tighten EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube nut to 35-45 Nm (26-33 ft. lbs.).
3. Tighten secondary air injection diverter valve bracket retaining bolt and stud bolt to 8-12 Nm (71-106 inch lbs.).
