  1. Remove nut securing steering rack track end to front hub.
  2. Break taper joint using tool 18G 1584.
  3. Disconnect track rod end from front hub.
Disconnect track rod end from front hub.
  1. Remove nut and washer securing front hub upper ball joint to suspension arm.
  2. Break taper joint using tool 18G 1584.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the rubber boot on ball joint.

Break taper joint using tool 18G 1584.
  1. Remove nut and washer securing front hub lower ball joint to suspension arm.
  2. Break taper joint using tool 18G 1584.
  3. Loosely fit nut securing upper ball joint to suspension arm.
