- Remove the storage compartment (4)
- Remove the ashtray and radio
- Remove screws (5) and (6) behind ashtray and radio
- Remove screws (7) (if a 5.5 mm socket is not available, a 1/4" socket will work)
- Unplug all electrical connectors behind center console

- Remove the instrument cluster filler strip (8) by pulling it straight up
- Remove the two # 15 torx screws (9); remove the heater/radio facia panel and cruise control/fog light switch panel
- Remove the two # 15 torx screws (10); tilt the instrument cluster toward you and disconnect the electrical connectors and speedometer cable
- Lift the instrument cluster up and out (be careful not to disturb the small rubber grommets in the dash that support the cluster)
- Remove the wiper, directional and cruise control switches

Remove screws (11)

Remove # 15 torx screws (12); push heater control panel inward to disengage locating pins

Remove # 30 torx screws (13) from hood release handle

Open fuse box door

Remove 10 mm bolts from underdash crash pad (14)

Remove the four 13 mm steering column mounting nuts; allow column to hang down
