2. Installing wiring harness on convertible-top support 

a. Clip wiring harness -30- into the holes provided on the convertible-top support -1-.

3. Installing wiring harness on convertible-top support

a. Clip wiring harness -30- into the holes provided on the convertible-top support -1-.

4. Installing potentiometer

a. Insert potentiometer fork into the pins of the hydraulic housing.
b. Position potentiometer -34- on the convertible-top support -1- and tighten with the fastening screws -35-.

Tightening torque: 2.8 Nm (2.0 ftlb.)

c. Insert the wiring harness -30- into the fastening clips -36- on the convertible-top support -1-.

5. Connect electrical plug

Additional assembly instructions for installing electrical wiring harness as of model year 2002 (convertible top with glass window)

1. Installing wiring harness of rear window heating

a. Lay wiring harness as shown in the illustration.
b. Fit the tie-wrap -38-.
c. Position the fastening clips -40- and tighten with the fastening screws -39-.
